Day 1: Sai Gon – Ben Tre homestay (L,D)
Pick you up at the hotel in Sai Gon at 08:30am, we depart to a world where water is immense, sky is endless and land is verdant, the Mekong Delta. This is the largest «rice basket» of Vietnam with endless waterways and verdant orchards. Arrive at Hung Vuong Pier (Ben Tre town) 90km far from Sai Gon, embark and cruise along the Bến Tre River– a tributary of Mekong River to discover the local life. Stop at a brick – field belonged to Mr. Tu Lo to see how Vietnamese people made brick by hand and a coconut candy home factory located along the canal to witness the process of making the candies and other souvenirs. Continue the rowing trip through the canals to visit Nhon Thanh village in Ben Tre with some vestiage of the ancient civilization. Stroll around the village to discover local culture, relax in its fresh air and meet with warmhearted local people.
Take a bicycle-cart on the quiet paths, stop to have lunch at the “Coconut green” riverside Hai Ho and then to typical local house to check in. In the afternoon, take cycling trip to Mr. Sau Khanh's home to admire his valuable collection of antiques. Learn about agricultural activities in Vietnam, watching the farmers on the field and probably joining your hands to help them. Prepare your dinner with the local host and overnight in the homestay
Day 2: Ben Tre – Can Tho – Homestay (B,L,D)
After having breakfast, you will visit the local market and the Phu Nhuan temple where you can see an old cycads date back a hundred year. Start a rowing boat trip on Cai Coi canal towards Hung Vuong pier and disembark. Drive to Can Tho through Vinh Long, en route stop at Cai Mon to visit the Catholic church and gardens of bonsai. Have lunch at the local restaurant on the way. Arrival in the afternoon, check in Can Tho homestay, then you can take part in activities with the host such as picking fruit and vegetables for dinner, cooking, making cake…Dinner and overnight at homestay in Can Tho
Day 3: Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market – Cai Be – Sai Gon (B,L) 180km
In the early morning, visit the Cai Rang floating market, the biggest and most famous floating market in Mekong Delta. You will be in the lively atmosphere, there are hundreds of boats to exchange their agriculture products: sugarcane, vegetables, potatoes, watermelon, coconut…Transfer back to Sai Gon , stop on the way to visit the village of Long Dinh where is very famous for making mats. Have lunch at the ancient house Ba Kiet in Cai Be. Arrival in Sai Gon in the later afternoon. Drop off at hotel. End of services
